"Trusting Potential" - Octopus in Gouache

I put all of my care and attention to detail into this piece as the first of the New Year. I wanted to challenge myself and successfully did so. I almost gave up many times in the creation of this piece but reminded myself to trust in my own potential.

This piece is painted on high quality, natural wood panels which have been sanded down and carefully prepared to enhance the artwork. The paints are Himi gouache which are made of eco friendly paint material and the paints have paint set is of rich pigment. Using these products means that this artwork is eco friendly and made sustainably due to the wood used and the accessability of the pigments for the paints.
