"Trusting Potential" - Octopus in Gouache

"Trusting Potential" was created as my first painting of the New Year and represents a personal journey of perseverance, growth, and self-belief. As I worked on this piece, I found myself repeatedly stepping beyond my comfort zone and facing moments of self-doubt. More than once, I considered giving up, but each challenge became a reminder to trust in my own potential and continue creating.

Featuring a vibrant octopus emerging through flowing tentacles and warm oceanic tones, this artwork reflects the beauty that can emerge when we push through uncertainty and embrace the creative process.

This original artwork has been painted using richly pigmented gouache on a high-quality natural wood panel, carefully sanded and prepared by hand to create a smooth painting surface. The materials have been chosen with sustainability in mind, combining durable natural wood with eco-conscious paints.
